All operations were performed by Dr. Dxter from pediatric cardiology department of the hospital, including three for patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) and three for ventricular septal defect (VSD), all using LifeTech’s occluder products.

As a part of the activity, famous Philippine actress "Ms. Heart" Marie O. Escude, was invited to pay a visit to the children after the operations. The visit was widely covered in the media and brought a lot of attention to children with CHD in Philippines. As the producer of the occluders used in the operations, LifeTech was greatly concerned for the health conditions of the children after the operations and wished them a speedy recovery.
